October 2014 – TSA-CDC Partnership Educates Professionals and the Public Across the Country

The national Tourette Syndrome Association celebrates its 11th year of program partnership with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a National Public Health Practice and Resource Center.  Through this partnership, TSA-CDC provides Tourette Syndrome (TS) education and outreach to medical, clinical and educational professionals, as well as to the general public. Over the past ten years, the TSA-CDC partnership has offered presentations to and exhibited with organizations, such as the National Association of School Psychologists, American Academy of Neurology, American Psychiatric Association, and National Medical Association, among several others. Well over 900 programs have been presented reaching every state in the country. The partnership has developed a wide range of educational resources and programming, including live webinars, education audio podcasts, video excerpts from the TSA 2014 National Conference and more.
